How to Make Crescent Roll Lasagna

This dish is super easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. Start by browning Italian sausage in a large skillet, then drain any excess grease. Add tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, and minced garlic to the pan. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Simmer for 10 minutes and remove from the heat.

In a small bowl, stir to combine cottage cheese, an egg, and dried parsley flakes. Set aside.

To assemble the lasagna, press one can of crescent roll dough into the bottom and up the sides of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Layer with six slices mozzarella cheese, followed by half of the meat mixture and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. Spread the cottage cheese mixture over the meat filling and top with the remaining meat sauce. Add another layer of mozzarella slices. Top the cheese with another can of crescent roll dough and press edges to seal. Brush the top with olive oil and sprinkle with Parmesan.

Bake in a preheated oven until the rolls are a deep golden brown. Once it’s out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes and slice. Garnish with oregano or fresh basil.
