How to Make Garlic Butter Noodles

These noodles are super easy to make with only a few basic ingredients. Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat. Add spaghetti noodles and cook according to the package instructions for al dente. Drain and set aside.

While the pasta cooks, make the garlic butter sauce. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic cloves to the pan and cook until fragrant. Add lemon juice, lemon zest, dijon mustard, paprika, fresh parsley, cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce, chive, thyme, red pepper flakes, kosher salt, and black pepper, and stir well to combine. 

Transfer cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 12 -oz bucatini or thick spaghetti
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • ½ lemon juiced
  • ½ lemon zested
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 Tbsp fresh chives chopped
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp grated parmesan or to taste

Instructions:

  1. This sauce looks very dark when it’s cooking. I was curious as to how it would be when added to my spaghetti. It was good, but next time I think I will omit the red peppers. I used a whole pound of regular spaghetti and had plenty of sauce
