Buffalo Chicken Burgers Recipe – SO good! I like these better than regular beef burgers! SO much amazing flavor! Ground chicken, bread crumbs, cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning, and buffalo seasoning. Can form into patties and freeze for later. Can cook on the grill or on the stove. Brush with hot sauce to kick up the heat. Top with ranch or blue cheese dressing. Also great topped with slaw!

These Buffalo Chicken Burgers are a new favorite in our house. We recently discovered our love of grilled chicken burgers. We made some Crack Chicken Burgers a few weeks ago and LOVED them. I immediately started coming up with more flavor combinations to use with ground chicken. I thought the next logical flavor combination was Buffalo Chicken. OMG! SO good! We love buffalo chicken wings, so I knew this combination would be a hit.
How To Make Chicken Burgers
I think it took me three times to perfect these Buffalo Chicken Burgers. My first attempt was too wet. The second attempt was too flimsy. I finally got it right on the third try. I found that ground chicken needs binders to stay intact on the grill. Ground chicken is so lean and has a lot of moisture, it just falls apart without something to keep it together. I ended up using some bread crumbs, cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning, and buffalo wing seasoning. It worked perfectly! We brushed the cooked burgers with hot sauce to kick up the heat! You can definitely skip this step if you don’t like spicy food.
I used a burger press to form the ground chicken mixture into patties. You can form the patties and refrigerate overnight or even freeze them for a quick meal later.
How To Cook Chicken Burgers
We cooked these Buffalo Chicken Burgers on the grill. Unlike ground beef burgers, you will need to cook these chicken burgers until they are done. The internal temperature needs to be 165ºF. Since this is ground meat, it is best to use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. It took us about 5 or 6 minutes per side. It will just depend on how thick you make your chicken burger patties.
If you don’t have a grill, you can cook these Buffalo Chicken Burgers in a skillet. The burgers will take about 4 or 5 minutes per side.
What to Serve with Buffalo Chicken Burgers
We absolutely LOVED these Buffalo Chicken Burgers. We topped them with some ranch and blue cheese dressing. They would also be great topped with some slaw! I can’t wait to make these yummy ground chicken burgers again! I might like ground chicken burgers better than ground beef!
We served the burgers with some broccoli salad and fries. They are also great with pasta salad, potato casserole, potato salad. Here are a few of our favorite recipes that go great with burgers:

The flavor of these burgers was AMAZING. I mean, seriously. They were awesome. My only problem is that my burgers did not stay together on the grill. That did not impact the taste at all, obviously, but it didn’t look pretty. I used Franks Buffalo Sauce and Franks Hot Sauce and i’m telling you, its the way to go!
I made these and also put some mozzarella in the middle to melt while cooking.
Absolutely delicious
That sounds amazing!
Is there somewhere in Birmingham to get the Franks seasoning without having to order on Amazon?
If you can't find the Frank's seasoning, look for a packet of McCormick Original Buffalo Wing Seasoning Mix – they sell it at Walmart. It will be with the gravy packets and au jus mix. It is a good alternative.
on the list for this weekend!! yum!
