Pin This RecipeThis dish is SO delicious. I’ve had this recipe bookmarked for years, but I never got around to making it. I am kicking myself for not trying this sooner. It is SOOOOO GOOD! The best part of this dish is that it is incredibly simple to make. It requires not marinating or prep. Just sprinkle the seasoning on the chicken, cook and add cream. It takes about 15 minutes total. You can’t beat that! I like to serve this over angel hair pasta, but it would also be good with mashed potatoes. Next time we are going to try a combination of half chicken and half andouille sausage. I can’t wait!

Hello, when cooking the chicken, do you cover it or give each each side 4 minutes? I wasn't sure so I turned it. Thanks! So excited to eat dinner 🙂
I did flip the chicken & cook in on both sides
Thank you!!!
I made this this evening and the sauce didn't thicken. Any ideas?
Make sure to cook it at a high heat – if you almost boil it, it will thicken
Made this for lunch today! So easy and delicious! Kids loved it. I added just a pinch of chicken bouillon to the sauce. Wow! Cant wait to make it again & try adding some veggies. Thanks for a great recipe.
What makes it thicken with out flowering the chicken?
What is heavy cream? :/
Same thing as whipping cream
What is heavy cream? :/
Made this with evaporated milk and a little corn starch. This is very good and quick and easy. It's a keeper.
Can this be frozen and used later? I was thinking of making a skillet full of this, but with just the two of us it will be too much. I like freezing half of normal recipes but am unsure if this will work because of the cream.
Making this tonight, over wheat pasta.

Thank you!!!!!!!

Thank you!!!!!!!
I have made this a few times, always over pasta, just enough sauce to coat, and not drown the pasta. I don't use the hot pepper, I use smoked paprika instead.
Just made this with thighs and the family loved it…thanks! I think I'll add peas next time too….
I loved this dish. I actually used bow tie pasta and mushrooms and thought they fit the dish perfectly
This was delicious! I was out of garlic powder, so I just sautéed one clove of minced garlic in the melted butter after cooking the chicken and before adding the cream. I served it with quinoa. Everyone loved it. Will definitely make again, maybe with some sliced mushrooms added in.
