This Chili Cheese Rotel Dip recipe is inspired by a reader’s comment. Rob left a comment on another recipe and said he makes this dip every Sunday and it literally gets destroyed! Well, with an endorsement like that, how could I not try it? OMG! This dip is ridiculously good. Sausage, cream cheese, Rotel diced tomatoes and green chiles, canned chili, hot sauce, chili powder, and garlic. This is super simple to make and everyone LOVES the flavor! It is the perfect appetizer for all of your upcoming parties!
How to Make Creamy Chili Cheese Rotel Dip
This dip is super simple to make on the stove top. Start with cooking sausage in a large skillet. Drain and add cream cheese, Rotel tomatoes, cream cheese, a can of chili, hot sauce, chili powder, garlic powder, and a splash of milk. Cook on medium heat until the cheese has melted and the dip is warm. Add more milk if the dip is too thick. Serve the dip with chips and enjoy!

- I used Jimmy Dean hot sausage. I’ve also made this with Tennessee Pride brand sausage.
- You can substitute ground beef for sausage if you prefer.

- 4 (8-oz) packages cream cheese
- 2 (10-oz) cans Rotel diced tomatoes and green chiles, undrained
- 1 (15-oz) can chili no beans
- 2 Tbsp hot sauce
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
