If you wanted to add onions and green peppers would you recommend cooking them first or adding them raw?
Either is fine. Just depends on how crispy you want them. They will probably soften a good bit while cooking.
This recipes sounds awesome! What would be a good replacement for the ricotta cheese? I’m not much of a fan of it.
I use cottage cheese when I don’t have or don’t want ricotta.
Forgot we also don’t get your crescent Rolls and nothing to compare to it, so would using actual raw pizza dough or a scone dough our scones are similar to your ‘biscuts’.
I have left a comment about sausage meat also..
Pizza dough would work well too.
Hi love the sound of this pizza, there is 1lb of sausage, not sure what you mean with sausage? Do I break open raw sausages and use the encased meat or is it a type of sandwich sausage, sorry if a dumb question but sometimes these quirky questions come up about food titles between Australian and American foods…
I used a roll of Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage. You can also use Italain sausage out of the casings.
We are trying this tonight! I’m sure it’ll be a favorite!
I LOVE the new look of the site!
A little confused ? recipe said to place top layer on top of (peppers ) i didn’t see peppers in this recipe. did i miss something ? other than that, i will be making this pizza this weekend. Looks good ! Rita
It should have said on top of pepperoni and pizza sauce. I corrected it.
