Comments

  1. This is currently in my crockpot. Can’t wait to try it! My husband is lactose intolerant so I used a homemade, lactose free version of cream.of mushroom soup. I also only had powdered vegetable gravy seasoning but I added some extra garlic and poultry seasoning to amp it up. The gravy by itself already tastes great. Thanks for the recipe!

  2. Hi! If I double this recipe will it fit in the 6 Qt. slow cooker? And If so, would I need to change the cooking time?
    Thanks!

    1. I would check the vegetables at the listed cook time and then decide if you prefer them more tender and increase the time then.

  3. This was great ! Actually I am making it again tomorrow. Had the meat department cut up the turkey tenderloins yesterday . Going to make my own stuffing this time . Thank you for this recipe .. delicious and my husband asked me to make it again . The gravy is great .

  4. I made this recipe today exactly as printed, and it was so delicious! So easy — just put everything in the slow cooker and let the magic happen. The turkey was so tender and white, and it just fell apart with two forks. This will be my go-to recipe for making turkey from now on. Thank you for a great recipe!

    1. Just saw this recipe and would love to make this while at work tomorrow but don’t have any of the gravy mixes. Any other suggestions or substitutes?

  5. I’m putting turkey in the crockpot for sandwiches tonight. This recipe looks incredible! Do you think too juicy for a roll?

    1. I am planning to try tomorrow. So haven’t tried yet. I intend to use closest thing I have which is Knorr chicken flavored bouillion dry mix & poultry seasoning & garlic powder as someone else mentioned of adding those seasonings . Am hoping for a good outcome.

    2. Open your sandwhich buns & toast lightly under the broiler briefly. This is what I do so meat ball subs don’t get soggy.

  6. I fix this for my family of four for Thanksgiving dinner first it could not have been easier second oh my gosh it was so yummy my family just went crazy over it it was the best we will never do turkey any other way it was so juicy so tender The gravy was the best it was delicious thank you thank you for such an easy and awesome no stress turkey dinner I hope your Thanksgiving dinner was awesome as ours stay safe keep your distance wear your mask happy Thanksgiving😷🦃🙏🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸

  7. We have the tenderloins but they are not completely thawed. Can we still go with the same instructions or should we do something different?

  8. I could only find cutlets, but it broke into chunks which was fine. We put it over stuffing. This will be my way to have Thanksgiving every couple months. So easy and delicious!!! You are my go to recipe blogger!!!

  9. turkey tenders used to be easy to find, we used to make this a lot. Now they have turkey cutlets that are too thin for long cooking. I am going to cut the meat off of a whole turkey breast in big chunks and do this for thanksgiving this year, it is just myself and my son. cant wait.

  10. This looks so amazing! I can’t find the tenderloins anywhere near me – would this work with a Butterball breast?

    1. You can try it, but I don’t know if it will shred like the tenderloins. You may also need to adjust the cooking time.

      1. I, too, have a Butterball boneless turkey breast (4 lbs.) I would love to try this recipe. Any updated suggestions on cooking time, etc.?
        Thanks!

      2. I would cut the boneless breast in half (or fourths) and cook it on the higher end of the cooking time. It should work beautifully.
