We finally made it to dinner at Chuy's a couple of weeks ago (the wait has been horrendous). We both really enjoyed the food, but we both loved the jalapeno dip they serve with the chips and salsa. It was crazy good!
I immediately went on the hunt for the recipe. I found a few copycat recipes and settled on one from The Tasty Kitchen. Jackpot! It tasted exactly like the jalapeno dip at Chuy's! We couldn't stop eating the stuff. I decided to marinate some chicken in it and it was awesome! I also made a little cheesy jalapeno bread. YUM! Jalapeno Dip overload!!
Chuy's Jalapeno Dip

- 16 ounces Light Sour Cream
- 1 package (1 Oz.) Ranch Dip Mix
- 2 whole large jalapenos, roughly chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup fresh cilantro
- 1 whole lime, juiced
- 2-4 Tbsp milk
Combine roughly chopped jalapenos, cilantro and garlic in the food processor. Pulse until finely chopped. Add lime juice, sour cream and ranch mix. Pulse until thoroughly combined. Add milk, a tablespoon at a time, until you reach the desired thickness. Pour into serving bowl and enjoy!
