{Slow Cooker} Cornbread Dressing

{Slow Cooker} Cornbread Dressing - delicious southern cornbread dressing made in the slow cooker. Make the cornbread ahead of time for easy meal prep. Takes minutes to assemble and is ready in about 4 hours. Perfect side dish for your Thanksgiving meal!

Dressing is my favorite part of Thanksgiving. I could just eat dressing and gravy and be happy. My Mom makes amazing dressing. Her recipe is made to cook it with a whole turkey or bone-in turkey breast. This year Chicken Legs and I are getting a boneless turkey breast from Honey Baked Ham, so I needed a dressing recipe that isn't baked with a turkey. I adapted my Mom's recipe to come up with this yummy Cornbread Dressing made in the slow cooker.

This dressing is SO delicious! The base of this Cornbread Dressing is obviously cornbread. To save time, I made the cornbread the day before I made the dressing. It only took a few minutes to mix everything together, and I let the slow cooker do its job. It took about 4 hours for the dressing to cook. I loved just being able to throw everything in the slow cooker and forget about it. SO easy! I can't wait to make this again for our Thanksgiving feast!
