This Air Fryer Pizza is on repeat in our house. We have been making it nonstop since I bought an air fryer. This recipe is a game changer! It is so simple to make and it tastes as good as any pizzeria! We actually stopped ordering pizza because we love this air fryer pizza so much! I love that this recipe is for individual pizzas and we can customize them with our own toppings. This has quickly become one of our favorite pizza recipes. You can’t beat delicious pizza in less time than delivery. Whip up some breadsticks and a salad for a meal better than your favorite pizzeria.
What is an Air Fryer?
An air fryer is basically a countertop convection oven. It circulates hot air around the food for faster cooking. The rapidly circulating air makes the food crispy, much like a deep fryer but with less oil. You also don’t need to preheat the air fryer, making cooking in the air fryer much faster than cooking in the oven.
How to Make Pizza in the Air Fryer
This cooking process for this delicious homemade pizza is effortless with only a few simple ingredients. Cut a ball of pizza dough into 4-equal pieces. Roll and stretch one piece of raw dough into a 6-inch round. Lay the dough round in the air fryer basket, and brush with 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Spread sauce on top of the pizza crust. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce. Arrange toppings over cheese. Cook until the cheese has melted and the crust is golden brown. Transfer the pizza to a plate. Garnish with fresh basil or Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese and serve immediately. Repeat with remaining dough pieces. Easy peasy!

Did you use the bake setting on the airfryer or the airfryer setting?
My air fryer doesn’t have a bake option, so I assume you would use the air fryer setting.
could you cook on parchment paper for ease of placing and removal
I don't think the crust would be as crispy if you cooked it on parchment paper. It really isn't hard to get the crust in and out of the air fryer, but you can use parchment paper if you prefer.
I can't wait to get my air fryer!!! any day now!
Yippee! I recently bought an air fryer and have been playing with it. Mine doesn't have a basket, it has 2 racks sorta of like and oven. I can wait to try this. Keep the air fryer recipes coming. Thanks, Steph
Can Pillsbury pizza dough be used?
I am sure you could. I haven't made this with Pillsbury dough, so I don't know the exact cooking time.
