I was wondering it’s supposed to be super watery? Did I go wrong somewhere? It’s so thin you could drink it. Which I wouldn’t b afraid of doing cause it’s so good!
This is right – It is a thin sauce. It will thicken up a smidge after it is refrigerated, but not much.
I also was wondering if there would be a difference if I used white wine vinegar. I did use the regular white vinegar and I did 2 tblsp of honey instead of the apple juice. I almost replaced the horseradish sauce with the crushed red pepper, but didn't. might try that the next time
I was just curious if it has to be regular white vinegar or if white wine vinegar will work the same.
I need a substitute for horseradish also. It isn't that I don't like it, it's just that it will put me in anaphylaxis. I had white sauce at a fave Alabama bbq joint in Melbourne, Fl. It didn't have horseradish in it.
Any suggestions to substitute for the horseradish (allergic)?
