This recipe came from my Mom.  She made these chicken tenders and couldn’t wait to share the recipe with us.   The marinade is very simple, and you probably have everything on hand to make them tonight.  I let the chicken marinate overnight because that is easier for me.  I am always running late in the mornings and just don’t have the time to prep for dinner.

The chicken was wonderful.  It smelled out of this world while it was grilling.   We couldn’t wait to eat it.  We are so glad that “Mama Hen” shared this recipe with us!

Grilled Italian Chicken Tenders Recipe – THE BEST grilled chicken! The chicken is marinated in olive oil, balsamic, garlic, onion, pepper and Italian seasonings. Grill or pan sear for the best chicken ever! We like to serve these over fettuccine Alfredo or marinara and pasta.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 4 tsp minced garlic
  • tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 lb chicken tenders

Instructions:

  • Combine all ingredients except chicken tenders. Mix well. Pour over chicken tenders (I use a ziplock bag) and marinate in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
  • Grill until done (165 degrees).

Notes:

Can double the recipe for a crowd.
Can use any cut of chicken you prefer – thighs, breasts, tenders.
Can use bone-in chicken, just make sure to cook the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165ºF.
