How to Make Cream Cheese Stuffed Celery
This Italian Cream Cheese Stuffed Celery is super easy to make. It only has 5 ingredients, including the celery! Start with a block of softened cream cheese. Mix in some Italian dressing mix, mayonnaise, and mozzarella cheese. Stuff that mixture into some celery stalks and you are done! I just use a spoon or knife to spread the cream cheese mixture into the stalks. I garnished the celery with some paprika and dried parsley. You could even top the stuffed celery with some chopped pecans! YUM!

You can make the Italian cream cheese mixture in advance and keep it refrigerated until you are ready to stuff the celery. It will keep 4 or 5 days in the refrigerator. You can also stuff the celery and refrigerate it overnight. I LOVE easy make-ahead appetizers like this!

Won’t the seasoning packet make the cream cheese too salty?
Only you can answer that. We did not think this was too salty.
I bet this would be good in boneless chicken thighs
Can you use miracle whip instead of mayo???
Sure!
Has anyone tried it with low fat or fat free Mayo?
I’m sure that would be just fine.
Is the Keto friendly?
Made this as written and everyone ask for the recipe. We loved it. Served it with veggies and assorted crackers.
This looks great! Thanks.
This is awesome just as it is. I’ve made a few times and everyone always comments how good it is. Thanks
I’m going to try the stuffed celery for christmas
Have you tried heating the filling in a dish and then dipping the celery stalks, a la spinach/artichoke-style dip? I would be interested to try it that way, but wanted to see if anyone has already.
I’ve had the filling cold as a dip but not warm. It sounds REALLY good warm! You should try it!!! Let us know how it turns out. I’m guessing YUMMY!
Can you use a ranch dressing packet instead of Italian?
sure
Could you use shredded mexican cheese
Any cheese is fine
Can you use Greek yogurt in place of the mayonnaise?
would love to know if you tried this…I just cannot eat mayo, plus I will travel w it refrigerated for Tailgate, but do not want to chance w mayo.
Has anyone ever added chicken to it?
You can add in anything you like to the mixture.
Did it state that Greek yogurt could be used in place of cream cheese?
Thanks.
I’ve never made this with greek yogurt. That isn’t a common substitution for cream cheese.
I love this recipe. My family and I use it as a vegetable dip. We also spread it on crackers and toast. Thanks for sharing.
Would someone please tell me if the measurement for the Italian Dressing Seasoning is correct in the recipe? I bought Good Season and it comes in 0.7 oz. which would be quite a bit more than .07 oz in the recipe.
That was a typo.I used one packet of dressing mix.
Can you freeze this for later ?
I’ve never frozen this so I can not say. The texture of the cream cheese will change after freezing, so keep that in mind.
Looking forward to trying this at our next family gathering. Thanks for sharing.
What do you think about putting the itialan seasoning on the cream cheese and putting it on the smoker. Then mixing it up and stuffing the celery?
We used to have a variation of this at all family gatherings. Thanks for the reminder. 🙂
