  1. I made this for my son and his wife, we all loved it. I decided to make some additions to the leftovers, added in some oil packed sun dried tomatoes and kalamata olives — it was a great update, added a lot of northern italian flavor. I’ve been asked to make a huge pan of it for my daughter-in-law’s baby shower in January. A winner!

  2. I halved this and baked it in a 9×9 dish. Also mixed in a very generous shake of Trader Joe’s Ranch seasoning. SOOOOOOO GOOD!! Thanks for the recipe!

  3. Loved this! It’s so creamy. I cut the recipe in half and cooked it in and 8×8 dish. Two meals for my husband and I. He’s fussy. He had no clue there was cottage cheese in it. It’s going in my favorites bin.

    1. This was really good! Total comfort food. Tip about adding a side veggie is good because it is rich. I enjoyed!

  4. I followed the recipe, the only thing I added was cheese on the top with the fried onions and this was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be making it again! Thanks (:

    1. Wow…this casserole was excellent! I used panko bread crumbs in addition to the french fried onions. And I also used mozzarella instead of cheddar since I had it on hand; it was outstanding!

  5. This sounds great, I do not care for cottage cheese and has a lot of salt for my husband, can you substitute for ricotta? If you do not recommend I will try the cottage cheese because the whole thing sounds so good. I love me some casseroles😋. Love your recipes!!!!

    1. Delicious! Followed the recipe, except made the sub of bread crumbs for the French fries onions, as I didn’t have any in the cupboard. Used homemade egg noodles, so it took longer to prep the dish, as I like my noodles thick. Still turned out wonderful. Used 2, 8×8 pans instead of 9×13, one in freezer for next week! Thanks for a real winner!
