How to Make Maple Bacon Cinnamon Rolls

These cinnamon rolls are effortless to make with only four simple ingredients. Preheat the oven and spray a 9-inch cake pan with nonstick cooking spray. Pour heavy cream into the bottom of the baking dish. Seta aside. Pop open a can of cinnamon rolls and separate them into 5 rolls. Unroll each roll into one long dough strip. Place cooked bacon slices on top of the dough and roll up. Place stuffed rolls into the prepared pan. Pour more heavy cream over the tops of the cinnamon rolls. Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown.

Open the can of frosting that came with the canned cinnamon rolls and pour it into a small bowl. Stir maple syrup into the frosting. Pour maple frosting over the hot rolls and enjoy!

Helpful Tips & Frequently Asked Questions

  • This recipe works best with a 17.5-oz can of Pillsbury Grands! Cinnamon Rolls.
  • I use precooked bacon. If you cook your own bacon, don’t let it get too crisp. It will continue to cook in the oven with the cinnamon buns.
    • Can substitute turkey bacon.
    • You may need more or fewer bacon slices than the recipe calls for. It will just depend on the size of your bacon slices.
  • I use real maple syrup, not pancake syrup.
  • I bake these rolls in a cake pan. You can also use a cast iron skillet.
  • You can double the recipe in a 9×13-inch baking pan.
    • The cooking time would stay the same.
  • For extra flavor, combine 4 tablespoons of melted butter with ⅓ cup of brown sugar and pour over the stuffed rolls before topping with heavy whipping cream.
  • Don’t like canned frosting? You can top the cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting instead.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
    • Reheat in the microwave for a few seconds or in the air fryer.
