What is an Air Fryer?

Do you have an air fryer? OMG! I LOVE mine. I actually love it so much that I have two. SO, what is an air fryer? An air fryer is basically a countertop convection oven. It circulates air around the food for faster cooking. The rapidly circulating air makes the food crispy, much like deep frying but without the need for oil. You also don't need to preheat the air fryer, making cooking in the air fryer much faster than cooking in the oven. The air fryer is also SUPER easy to clean up. You can put the cooking basket in the dishwasher.

We love to cook french fries, chicken tenders, frozen snacks, burgers, pizza, and steaks. We use our air fryer at least twice a week. I have the Philips XXL Air Fryer and the Philips XL Air Fryer. I love them both, but I definitely recommend the Philips XXL Air Fryer. It is larger and can cook an entire meal at once.

How to Make Steak Tips and Mushrooms in the Air Fryer

These Air Fryer Steak Tips & Mushrooms are SO easy to make. Start with a couple of ribeye steaks. Cut them into bite-sized pieces and place in a bowl. Add some sliced mushrooms, onion soup mix, olive oil, and Worcestershire sauce. Toss to coat and throw into the air fryer. Let the steak and mushrooms cook for about 8 to 10 minutes and dinner is done!

If you don't like mushrooms, feel free to leave them out. Sliced fresh onions and bell peppers would be good with the steak and mushrooms. You can also add a little blue cheese to the steak and mushrooms. I would add the cheese during the last couple of minutes of the cooking time. YUM!

  2. Is this 2 1lb steaks (2lbs total) or 2 steaks that equal 1lb?
