How to Make Ginger Scallion Sauce

This dish is effortless to make with only a few simple ingredients. Open ramen noodles and discard flavor packets. Cook ramen noodles in boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
While noodles are cooking heat oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet. Add chicken and cook until starting to brown. Add garlic, olive oil, and scallions to the pan. Cook until the garlic is fragrant and the scallions sizzle. Add light soy sauce, ketchup, water, honey, brown sugar, and fresh ginger to the hot oil. Stir the sauce into the scallion mixture and bring to a boil. Reduce to medium heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Add butter to the sauce and stir. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Garnish with more sliced green onions and serve immediately.

  • 2 packs ramen noodles, packets discarded
  • lb boneless skinless chicken, cubed
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 1 Tbsp scallions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp minced garlic from a jar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp ketchup
  • ¼ cup water
  • 3 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
