Put this together last night for breakfast this morning and Omgee!! It was so good! We don’t like velveeta in our household so I substituted 8 oz of cream cheese and so glad I did. The grits were so creamy and delicious! We will have these again for sure!
Really good. I’ll use 2 pounds of sausage next time.
Any healthier subs for velveeta?
As I live in the UK grits aren’t really overly available here what would be a suitable equivalent or substitute?
Polenta or cornmeal
Haven’t made it but it sounds delicious. Can you substitute a lb of cooked & crumbled bacon ion this recipe?
