Layers of tortillas nestled between seasoned ground beef, velvety cheese dip, zesty Rotel, and hearty black beans. This mouthwatering masterpiece is like a fiesta in every bite. How to Make Taco Lasagna

This dish is super simple to make with only a few simple ingredients. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Drain excess grease. Add taco seasoning and water to the pan. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add queso cheese dip, rotel diced tomatoes and green chiles, and black beans. Stir well. Remove from the heat.

Cut tortillas in half. Place 6 tortilla halves in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Top the tortillas with half of the beef mixture. Repeat layers. Add a layer of tortillas on top of the casserole and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese. Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven. Remove the foil and cook under the broiler until the cheese is bubbly. Garnish with cilantro.

Ingredients:

  • 1 -lb ground beef
  • 2 (1-oz) package taco seasoning
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 (10-oz) can Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained
  • 1 (23-oz) jar salsa con queso cheese dip
  • 1 (15-oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 9 soft taco flour tortillas cut in half
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350ºF. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
