This dish is super easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. In a small saucepan, stir together tomato sauce, salsa, and half of a packet of taco seasoning. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes and remove from heat. Set aside.
In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Drain excess grease; add the remaining half of taco seasoning packet and water. Simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
Place a loaf of refrigerated dough on a cutting board. Cut dough in half lengthwise. Slice each dough half crosswise into 16 slices for a total of 32 bread dough slices. Repeat with the remaining can of dough. You will have a total of 64 bread dough slices when you are done.
Arrange the dough slices on a pizza pan in a circular pattern. Spread the homemade taco sauce in an even layer over the bread slices. Top the sauce with the taco meat. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the pizza. Top with corn and black beans. Bake in a preheated oven until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted. What size is your pizza stone? I have one from Pampered Chef, probably a common size. 64 pieces of dough sounds like a lot! This looks really good!
I have the pampered chef stone too. Not sure what size it is – 16 or 18 inches is my guess. I'm out of town so I can't measure it.
