Bisquick Cheeseburger Pie Recipe

This Impossible Cheeseburger Pie is a family favorite. It is effortless to make and the whole family gobbles it up! Bisquick, ground beef, bacon, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, hamburger seasoning, eggs, milk, and cheese. This is very similar to a quiche with all the flavors of a bacon cheeseburger. YUM! You might want to double the recipe; I never have any leftovers!

What is Bisquick?

Bisquick is a pre-made baking mix sold by Betty Crocker. It is made with flour, shortening, salt, sugar, and baking powder.

If you don’t have access to a box of Bisquick baking mix, you can make a quick homemade Bisquick mix.

In a food processor pulse 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 1⁄2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1⁄2 teaspoon of salt, and 2 1⁄2 tablespoons Crisco shortening. If you don’t have a food processor, you can use a pastry cutter to cut the shortening into the flour mixture.

How to Make Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie

This dish is super easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. In a large skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Drain excess grease. Add ketchup, mustard, hamburger seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet. Stir well and simmer for 2 minutes. Spread the ground beef mixture in the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate, top with crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.

In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and Bisquick. Pour the batter over the meat and cheese mixture. Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center of the casserole comes out clean. Sprinkle with more shredded cheese and let sit for 5 minutes before cutting into slices.
